Located in Beira Interior, Bairrada is particularly characterised by its wine production with a Controlled Designation of Origin. It is also in this region that you’ll find the beautiful Serra do Caramulo and Termas do Luso (hot springs), famous for their medicinal waters.
Also in this region, you may visit the imposing Serra do Bussaco, where the Royal Palace is located, considered one of the last legacies of the Kings of Portugal.
