Explore the greenest region in Portugal with marvellous landscapes and two of the most important cities in Portuguese history. Guimarães is known as the “Cradle city” of Portugal, established by the first king D. Afonso Henriques, as the first administrative centre of the Kingdom of Portugal. Here you can experience the most iconic Castle and walk through the narrow medieval streets of the old town.
Afterwards, visit Braga and absorb its influence, as one of the most important cities in terms of Catholic history of the Iberian Peninsula. The Sé de Braga and the Bom Jesus Sanctuary in Braga are true must see´s in Portugal.
